Twisted handles are made from the same paper family as the bag, so nothing has to be separated before recycling. They sit flat against the bag when it is empty, which matters when a shop stores thousands of them under a counter.
This is the workhorse of retail packaging and usually the cheapest printed bag per unit at volume. Most orders run in kraft with a one or two colour logo, but the full print area is available if the artwork calls for it.
Handle colour can be matched to the print rather than left plain, which is a small detail that lifts an otherwise simple bag.
